In the meantime, we have the Sudanese hiphop artist HGM Moe Ji One in the hot seat today, answering some burning questions for us. Without further ado, lets get to it!

What is your musical background? How did you get into music?

My grandfather is a composer he composes music, and my uncles are musicians, and they have their own bands. That’s how I got my music passion.

What are your biggest motivations?

My biggest motivation to create music is that I want to experience the world and industry of music and it made me enjoy every single bit of it which creates more motivation to keep going.

What's the role of an artist in the society?

The role of an artist in society is to spread joy and somehow try their best to be a great influence rather than doing it solely for money. This will make them more loved and followed by great fans that will actually be listening to every new song they will put out there because they find themselves in your music.

How do you do your daily work?

My daily work is not usually music, I own a tech company and I work as a COO in a Nation-Wide Fragrances company in Saudi Arabia.

Why did you choose to be an artist?

I chose to be an artist as a beginning because I wanted to find a runaway from the world and then found what I love the most in music and that’s what my listeners found in my music as well.

What are your ultimate career goals?

My Ultimate Career goals are not necessary including music because as I said I do it because it is the only place where life cannot reach me and where I find my happiness. So therefore, my career goals are usually going to be releasing new albums and at the same time developing my business to get it booming.

How do you go about honing your music skills?

I keep developing my music skills day by day in my studio which I have inside my company MLO Techs that led me to compose a lot of beats and make a lot of unreleased songs that I might release in the coming years.

Tell me how you have been developing your music this far

Music developing will never stop because it is one of these things that if you didn’t use it you will definitely lose it.
